A B O U T

Hi, friends! 

This blog is primarily a way for me to show my friends & family (and I guess every other person on the internet who cares) the things I do, create, and think of in my spare time. (I'm really trying harder to record the things I do, most of it I fail to even take pictures of, oops.) Here's a little bit of a general idea of the things I might post:

• DIY projects, or My "To-Do" list - This link will take you to my "To-Do" (or my DIY board) on Pinterest. Most of my ideas come from there; however, many of my clothing DIYs are all things I just experiment with or do myself. (I'm self-taught at most of the things I do, so if there's no link to the idea, it's probably something that I just did.) 

• Thrift store visits - I kind of just go to the thrift store when I feel like going and when I have money and time to. There are 2 that I go to the most in Chattanooga (America's Thrift Store in Hixson, TN and Goodwill-East Brainerd), but I'm really interested in finding some new ones to go to (I know there are awesome ones in downtown Chatt. and I now live at Lee University in Cleveland, TN.) I always find GREAT pieces that I like to turn into things or wear as found. The things I change into completely different pieces will probably fall under the "DIY/to-do" category (depending on difficulty, rarity of the clothing, etc.). The funny thing is, I used to hate thrift stores and thought they were yucky and hard to navigate (I hate messes and yucky things, ha) now, I love them and half of my clothes come from them! You just have to go in with the right mindset: washing machines, soap, buried treasure... 

• Food - I'm finally off the meal plan at school and am so excited to try new things on my own! So, if I make something/eat something that's too good not to share, you can bet it'll be here. :)

• Life events/updates - These will probably be more rare, but if something big or exciting comes up, you know....

• Anything/miscellaneous - Honestly, I can't really think of any more categories, but I'll be posting all kinds of things, so be prepared. I'm really, really excited to document the projects I do!
