I bought a hideous denim dress at a thrift store a long time ago--for this very purpose--and finally turned it into a dress!

I literally just cut through the middle of the dress, distressed the ends a little bit, and threw it into the washing machine.
I'm still trying to decide what else I want to do to it. :)
